Subject: 4302 Ford Road
I am a current resident at 2345 Port Carlisle Place, Newport Beach. I have 3 children in
elementary and middle school. They play multiple sports at Bonita Canyon Sports Park. I want
to express my extreme vote AGAINST the proposed multi unit complex at 4302 Ford Road.
This proposed multi family living facility (condo/apartment) will bring significant influx of
traffic into my neighborhood. Our children ride bikes to and from practices and would be in
significantly increased risk of accidents by vehicles driving into and out of this proposed
facility. The drivers using this facility will not be just residents but also cleaning personnel,
tutors, nannies, delivery drivers, guests etc. They will not be on the lookout for children
walking, riding bikes etc. By agreeing to change the zoning to allow this structure to be built
you will be putting my children and those in our neighborhood at high risk.
In addition the impact of living in the Port Streets will be negatively impacted by adding an
eyesore to our sight lines in addition to the increased traffic.
Please show us your commitment to the safety of our children by denying any zoning changes
that would allow this building to proceed. We are counting on you!
