Subject: Condos at Bonita Canyon Park
Mr. Zbeda,
I am concerned homeowner in the Port Streets. I am very much opposed to the condo project
on Ford Street. I think the impact on traffic and safety for our children that ride bikes to school
is not worth it. The traffic there is all ready bad enough. It will be very dangerous for children
accessing bikes on the bike path.
We moved a year ago from Irvine after 25 years because the city was over building, taking all
the green space away. We had heard Newport was different. Please don't make the same mistake
Irvine is making. We didn't know our neighbors because everything is rented out, which these
condos will be. Kids in our schools in and out if the parents are renters. Please leave these area
alone. Do not build condos.
