Subject: 4302 Ford Road Project
Dear Ben,
As a Port Street resident I am very concerned about the 21unit, three story building that is being
proposed on Ford Road.
There is absolutely no way that this structure will not present safety hazard issues for the children and
families who use Bonita Park.
There will be limited visibility for delivery trucks and cars, the sidewalks and bike paths will be impacted
and they are the primary sidewalks used by the children going to and from Queen of Angels and Corona
Del Mar High School.
Also of concern is a three story building looming over a park where children are playing. The residents
of the buildings will park in the Bonita Canyon lot because of limited spaces in the complex. Parking at
Bonita Canyon is terrible and it will prove impossible with the addition of this proposed project. Most
importantly, however, is the overall safety and well being of our children that this proposed project will
undoubtedly jeopardize.
