Subject: Ford Rd. apartments
I am a 21 year resident at the port streets. I believe having
apartments/condos built on old Ford Rd is the worst decision for the use of
that land. It will make the now quiet Ford Rd busy and more dangerous for
all of the kids in the area. We have a sports field with little kids and the
park which is across the street from the proposed apartments. This is
something that must be stopped. I can't think of one reason as to why it
would be a good idea.
The main concern is safety of the kids in the park and neighborhood, and
the amount of increased traffic on a small street that is not a through
street.
Please work hard to get stop the Hines company from being able to build
their apartment community.
