Subject: Port Street Condo Project
Dear Brenda,
I am very concerned about the new project being proposed for the Corner of Macarthur and
Bonita Canyon Road. It is projected that the entrance will be on Ford road, right at the entrance
to the parking lot to the local park and Pickle Ball courts there! Can you imagine how dangerous
this will be for our children? When they are riding their bikes to CDM or walking to the park, or
even going to soccer practice on the accessory field closest to this proposed project, they will be
competing with the moving and delivery truck traffic as well as the condo residents car traffic
which is scheduled to go right across the sidewalk and bike path. This is a recipe for disaster!
The location is not suited for a multiresident building because it would create significant dangers
to the children and adults in our neighborhood due to the traffic. Please consider rejecting this
project. It would be so sad for any of you to have the injury or death of a child or resident on
your conscience due to a poorly thought out plan.
