Subject: Condo/apartment complex ford road
Dear Mr. Zdeba,
After reviewing the proposed site plan and following up by walking the proposed future Ford condo site,
I am extremely concerned for the safety of the people, especially children who utilize the area just
outside of the access area on a daily basis.
I decided to walk the area on a Sunday when foot traffic would most likely be at its lowest and there
were people accessing the bike path with even more bike traffic than I would have expected on a
non”school/weekday.” People were also coming in and out of the park and at points the tuen around
area just entering the parking for the park was backed up with cars. For many, the access into and out
of the proposed project would be extremely dangerous as the number of people that access not only
the park, but also go for walks, use the bike path, tennis courts, soccer fields and tennis courts would
surely be out at risk with the proposed in/out of that complex.
I am quite shocked that the city would even consider such a project, taking into account the usage of
that current area with pedestrians alone, let alone the expectation that tenants, delivery trucks, visitors,
moving trucks l, etc. would be able to maneuver going in and out of the project safely without
endangering themselves and others.
Please take into consideration the safety of those that utilize this area on a daily basis and prevent the
possibility of those in the future that would be endangered by this project.
