Hi Ben,
Regarding the proposed 21 unit building on Ford Rd I would like to impress upon you that the
location will encourage drivers living at The Newport House, to cut through our neighborhood
on NEWPORT HILLS DRIVE WEST & NEWPORT HILLS DRIVE EAST to the destination of
grocery stores, schools , senior center( Oasis) and a quicker less congested route to Fashion
Island Etc. This route avoids Bonita Canyon Rd. Mac Arthur, San Miguel and within our
neighborhood they will avoid traffic signals!
Please consider the children both going to Anderson Elementary as well as Parks and Pools.
Also, The man in charge of this project, forgot his name, he is going to China for Hines I think
Lawler??? Anyway, his home is on one of the only streets that does not have traffic. His street
will not be affected otherwise he would not pursue this project.
Again, this will increase traffic in a 60 yr old neighborhood without the infrastructure to handle
the increased population of people and cars.
