Subject: "4302 Ford Road" multi-unit project
Hi Benjamin,
I am a Port Street resident. We are very concerned about the condo/apartment proposal adjacent to
the Bonita Canyon Sports Park. The path at the corner is where many students walk or ride their bikes
to CDM Middle/High School, including my own. Kids are often in a hurry in the morning to get to school
on time. The traffic that this complex will bring with tenants trying to go to work in the morning and
delivery trucks coming in/out, is extremely dangerous to our kids. It is an accident waiting to
happen. Not to mention taking away the parking spaces in the park, and on Ford Road, especially when
there are sports events. There are already not enough parking the way it is. We can imagine that
folks visiting the condo/apartment and sports park will start to park their cars on Port
Streets. We strongly oppose the condo/apartment proposal.
I would also like to be notified as to when the city council meeting will take up the vote. If
there’s an email notification system, please provide sign up information as well.
