Subject: Ford Road Condo/Apt project
I’m emailing to be officially included in the protest of the development of the condos/apartments at the
end of Ford Road. The congestion it will cause at the park and the surrounding streets will be palpable
on a daily basis. Imagine this scenario: Delivery trucks considering double parking as they try to deliver
their packages down a 150 foot curved driveway only to find a moving truck that might be parked there
for hours. Then they have to reverse to get out only to be greeted by a 4 year old on his scooter that the
truck is too high to see. Another issue is that there is not enough parking for the tenants which means
that their guests will be parking in the park’s parking lot, creating even more of a mess than there
already is. It is an ill-planned project that Newport Beach doesn’t need that will affect the safety and
peace of its citizens. Please put my name down in opposition.
