With all the changes that have come about over the years, we have experienced increase in cars and congestion at the exits and entrances from the Port Streets and to the main exit on Bonita Canyon as well as Traffic from Bonita Canyon residential area. Our kids have grown up and they now have vehicles and drive independently as well. Number of games are taking place at the parks around our neighborhood which is causing further congestion. Are we so desperately in need of more condos and apartments that we need to build them in a small space adjacent to the Port street residential area? Can we afford more congestion and cars coming out of an underground parking lot form the condo/apt. building? There are lots of apartments being built on Jamboree and Rothchild in Newport Beach. They are not even finished, nor have they been filled. We are asking that you reconsider this plan as it is not helpful to the community that we have loved and lived in for so many years. We are certain that you will receive a lot of valid complaints from residents of port streets who have young children bicycling in the area, young teenagers who are driving cars, and lots of games taking place in the parks by Port Streets. Our streets are not designed to handle more cars and traffic congestion. Thank You, George and H. Lida Mooradian 1950 Port Edward Place Newport Beach, CA 92660
