Subject: Proposed Hines project at 4302 Ford Road
Mr. Zdeba and planning commissioners,
I’m writing to urge the City of Newport Beach and its planning commission to deny the proposed
project at 4302 Ford Road. I have many concerns about its appearance, location, the additional
traffic and parking congestion, but my biggest concern is the safety of our children accessing the
pathway going to & from the school and park.
When we decided to set down roots and build our home in the Port Streets, we did so knowing
that we were entering a neighborhood that prided itself as operating like a community. After
reviewing the 45 page study session, I don’t see that this project offers any upside to our
community and would not serve the current residents well in any capacity.
