Subject: Proposed condo project opposition
Dear Mr. Zedba -
I am writing to make my opposition and serious concern known about the proposed condo
development at the AT&T station location at Bonita Canyon and MacArthur. It is ridiculous to
think that the addition of this proposed building is a good idea given the surrounding
neighborhood, school, and retail traffic already affecting the area. To insert a development of
that size in a tiny corner is negligent and irresponsible not to mention dangerous and unsightly.
Please also note that the bike trail, which is adjacent to the proposed driveway is used as an
access lane by many bicycles of those students commuting twice daily to CDMHS, and also
people out for exercise on foot and by bicycle. Please give an ounce of consideration to those
using the park , bike path and surrounding areas. This is an ill conceived idea at best and should
be taken off of the planning commission strategy for Newport
Beach.
