Subject: Ford Road/Condo-Apt Project
Mr. Zdeba,
I am writing to let you know how horrible the Ford Road Condo-Apt development would be for
our community. My children regularly play at the park at the end of Ford Road, both for
organized sport and (totally disorganized) fun. We regularly have to park on Ford Road because
the parking lot for the park is full. I cannot imagine the traffic hazard a development of condos
or apartments near this location would be! There are small children and families running
around everywhere and to add the number of units I hear are being considered (without
adequate parking) will be devastating. This will both harm the environment and be a total
safety hazard to our neighborhood. PLEASE do NOT approve this project for the good of our
community and its children. Additional open space and parks would be an asset to our
community, and add much-needed field space for our kids to play on. The over-development of
our city is becoming out of control – please preserve our environment and the traffic we are
already dealing with by NOT developing this land in this way.
