As a patriotic American and on this day especially, I am writing to offer our support for the proposed Resolution 2021-82. As Ms. Finnigan notes in her staff report, "...Orange County veterans and public officials have sought consensus on a site to develop a cemetery to honor the men and women who have served our country and provide for them a local burial location." I am quite sure members of your own Post 291 of the American Legion are in that group of veterans supporting a cemetery location decision now. The Gypsum Canyon site is the best possible option available for helping this long debated project move to fruition. Remember the fallen, this day especially.
