Occasionally Businesses/Churches (i.e., Boeing, Latter Day Saints, Scouts) will host volunteer (specialty) cleanups for their employees/members On-going unmet Citywide needs Increasing service level demands Public Works Department Community Volunteer Cleanup Program • Working to develop as a force multiplier for staff • Address unmet needs • Provide doorway for community involvement Task in progress: • Identifying areas with unmet needs City Parks, Roadsides, Trails, Open Space • Developing pre -defined project sheets for volunteer efforts What? Where? When? How often? To do still: • Update website with opportunities and information • Reach out to the community, businesses, organizations Part of the Solution: Trellis International Community Impact Team (CIT) &i.
