• 650 sq. miles water and
45 miles of shoreline
have been closed to
fishing since early Oct.
due to oil spill.
• State has determined no
health hazards from
consumption of seafood
and shellfish.
• Fishing and collecting
shellfish can resume off
non -protected coastal
waters, piers, jetties.
