1. Project plans:
1. Provide SCE power location and approved drawings from SCE.
Response: Inserted the SCE final power design sheets into CD set.
SAQ to get the authorization letter from SCE.
2. Revise note on the plans “An approved encroachment permit is required prior to
performing any work activities within the public right-of-way.
Response: Complied, updated the note 1 of City of Newport Beach Notes.
3. The existing elevation drawing on sheet A-4 is incorrect. Please revise drawing.
Response: Complied, corrected the details to reflect the concrete sidewalk.
4. Please install a RF notice at pedestrian eye level.
Response: Complied, inserted the additional RF notice at the eye level and updated
the details on Sheet A-5 box 6
5. Public works standards were updated in March 2021. Please revise all referenced
Public Works Standards.
Response: Complied, updated latest City of Newport Beach Public Works Standard
details on sheets A-6 & A-7.
6. The light arm on sheet A-5 is not consistent with the existing light arm.
Response: Complied, updated the details to match the existing light arm.
7. TCP redlines.
Response: Complied, updated the TCP as suggested, moved all the advance
signages onto the curb line.
8. Show the existing streetlight conduit.
Response: Complied, updated the information.
Additional Comments:
9. A-3. See STD 202 & revise.
Response: Complied, updated the note to maintain the concrete cap min. of 5’-6”.
10. E-1. Box 6 remove “Copper Clad” just “Stainless Steel Ground Rod”
Response: Complied, removed the text “copper clad” and updated the detail-3
sheet E-1.
