•21.6 Miles of Water Frontage within Newport Harbor plus an additional 15.5 miles of water in
the Back Bay.
•One of the most popular destinations for all aspects boating and water activities.
•Home to a large population of nonprofit and collegiate programs engaging our communities in
Sailing, Rowing, Science, Education, Child Development and Fitness.
•Largest Residential presence on the water on the west coast.
•Thriving business community offering numerous opportunities in dining, boat rentals, kayaks,
whale watching, sportfishing, lodging and entertainment.

1.Study was conducted over four months contacting all stakeholders via email and telephone.
2.For stakeholders without POS systems or automation educated estimates were made including
consideration for seasonality.
3.Multiple stakeholders did elect not to participate, and a conservative educated estimate was inserted into
this study.
4.Conservative estimates were provided for this study across the board with some stakeholders reported
being affected by reductions in business due to Covid-19 restrictions.
5.Beach estimates were based on square footage, seasonality and are very conservative.
