The project will provide Fire Dept. footpath access to all sides of the above grade portions of the N1 and N2 structures, as well as FDCs in areas extending beyond the 150ft hose pull range from apparatus locations. b. Code required NFPA 13-R sprinkler system will be upgraded to NFPA13. c. Code requires 2hr fire barriers separating fire compartments in Type V construction. The project will upgrade these compartments partitions from 2hrs barriers to 3hr fire walls, including fire dampers and 3hr fire walls. The fire walls will extend from podium to the roof. 1.
