As the subject property is located in the coastal zone and a Coastal Development Permit is required for the development of a new single-family residence, the 24- month time limit will not begin until the effective date of Coastal Development Permit which was signed and approved on January 23, 2015. A one-year time extension to March 12, 2017, for the approved Coastal Development Permit was issued. A second extension is being requested.
