SUBJECT: CITY QUITCLAIM DEED TO STATE FOR PORTION OF VACATED
SUPERIOR AVENUE
RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. Approve the Quitclaim Deed.
2. Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the
Quitclaim Deed.
DISCUSSION:
To facilitate the exchange of right-of-way for the
realignment of Superior Avenue, the City vacated a portion of
Superior Avenue by adopting Resolution No. 88-93. In order to
clarify the title, Caltrans has requested that the City execute a
quitclaim deed to the vacated area.
