Dear Matt,
Per your request, we are assigning the address 2950 Third Avenue to the rear unit (unit B) of
the two-unit dwelling on your property. The 601 Iris Avenue address will remain for the front unit
(unit A) on the property.
This letter should be used to inform all affected agencies, such as the U. S. Postal Service,
Orange County Assessor, utilities, etc. Please be sure to notify your local telephone service
carrier so that responses to any “9-1-1” emergency calls are dispatched to a valid address. The
address numbers should be at least four inches high, of contrasting color to their background,
and clearly visible from the street.

RE: Request for Additional Address Assigment
Dear Mr. Van Patten:
This letter is to request a second address assignment for 601 Iris, Ave, Corona del Mar. Plan check
number 0850-2015 has been approved and permits are currently being processed. This project
consists of two condominium units designed and approved in accordance with City of Newport Beach
Council Policy L-2.C permitting the front unit on Iris to have a separate drive approach on 3rd Avenue.
The Rear unit is separate from the front unit with a complete vertical separation, faces Third Avenue
and does not have access from Iris Avenue. Accordingly, we request that the rear unit be assigned a
new Third Avenue address and that the front unit retain the existing 601 Iris Avenue address.
