I am a homeowner in Spyglass Hill and am writing to express my support for the proposal to
install surveillance cameras at various ingress and egress locations in the Spyglass Hill
community.
I have resided in Spyglass Hill for more than 22 years. Over the years, there have been
numerous residential burglaries in our community. Installation of surveillance cameras at the
proposed ingress and egress locations would help reduce the number of burglaries in the
community and would assist in the prompt identification and prosecution of those who commit
such crimes. Further, the proposed limitations on use of the surveillance video are
sufficient to protect the privacy rights of residents and guests. I fully support installation of the
surveillance cameras as proposed.

Hello
As a member of spyglass community, we need more security protection from Newport Beach city
councils.
Because our community ( SGH ) HOA does not own any land to place surveillance camera, it is your
duty to provide more security and adding another layer of crime protect to our residents.
