Re: Response to Joselyn Perez

Thank you for taking the time to review our plans. Below you will find point-by-point responses to
your list of corrections.
1.Project Description
i.The existing grades step down towards the bay putting the grades at 9.79’ at its lowest point.
The lots on either side of the property are roughly 12.61 to the south and 13.30. There is
roughly a 3.5’ differential in height. Our aim is to reduce the differential and provide a grade
that is more similar to the adjacent lots.
ii.The adjoining lots share similar grades and are comparable to what we are proposing. As
such, there should not be any adverse effects to any of the adjoining properties.
iii.The increase in height from the grade determination will provide us with a more usable site
towards the rear yard. eliminating the grade differential will be beneficial as we can raise our
see wall to be more inline with the adjacent wall heights.
2.Plans
i.Please see the updated sheet.
ii.Please see the updated sheet.
iii.The Grade Plane Exhibit on GD-1.0 has been updated to clearly illustrate the grade elevations.
The grade elevations used to calculate the grade plan can be found sheet GD-1.0.
3.Additional Materials
i.Photographs of the project site and surrounding lots have been provided. See attachments.
