We ask that that the Council not commit to approval of the request summarized in Agenda Item IV, The residents wish to preserve the character and integrity of our residential neighborhoods, evidenced, most notably by groundswell or voice, resulting in City enactment of the following: • No more /cap on STLs/Short Term rentals in our City • Timeshares and fractional ownership uses NOT permitted in ANY residential zone If the City wishes to consider prospective opportunities to add Visitor serving accomodations representing fundamental change in land use , it should look to Hotel/hotel resort uses, and not the perpetual commercialization of residential uses and housing stock. Thank you Denys H. Oberman on behalf of Leadership Committee- Balboa Penninsula, Balboa Island, Balboa Penninsula Point, West Newport and Newport Island, Corona del Mar
