Re: Limited Term Permit No. XP2021-035 – Request for Extension
Mr. Jurjis,
R.D. Olson Development is requesting a 12-month time limit extension for the following project:
• Topside Rooftop Tent, 3300 Newport Boulevard, Newport Beach, CA 92663
• Limited Term Permit No. XP2021-035, original permit approved on January 13, 2022
and effective on January 28, 2022.
• Scope of work under permit: Installation of 1,656 SF temporary tent on rooftop deck
during cold weather seasons.
• Reason for extension request: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and record-high
construction costs and delays including unavailability of products, the installation of the
temporary tent is currently infeasible.
Due to financial hardship and global supply chain instability, we respectfully request for an
extension of additional time for Limited Term Permit No. XP2021-035.
