Below is an overview of the Pendry Newport Beach’s Security Plan for The Cabaret
Number of security personnel:
There will be a minimum of two on site security personnel at all times. Security staffing will be increased
for larger functions to ensure a safe environment for all patrons.
Qualifications of security personnel:
All security personnel with be required to possess a High School Diploma, CPR/First Aid Certification and
California Guard Card. Security personnel will undergo extensive security training facilitated by the
Pendry Newport Beach Director of Security, Ryan Hollins.
Basic operation plan for security:
Security personnel will post and patrol inside of The Cabaret during hours of operations. Security
personnel will also utilize the Hotel CCTV System to monitor activities.
Plan for controlling loitering, noise, over-crowding, elicit activity, and objectionable conditions:
Security personnel will be in constant communication with The Cabaret management to ensure all
security related issues are responded to and addressed immediately. All of The Cabaret’s Associates
with be trained in Responsible Alcohol Service.
Plan for contact with Police Department, Neighboring residents or businesses in the event of planned
activities or emergencies:
Security personnel will contact 911 for all emergency situations. Security personnel will contact the
Newport Beach Police Department Dispatch for non-emergency situations.
