The project consists of the conversion of existing floor area within a single-family residence to an ADU. This approval is based on the following standards. 1. The project is for an Accessory Dwelling Unit 2. The project is located in the R-1-7200 zoning district and is a permitted use. 3. There is an existing single-unit dwelling on the lot. 4. The project is classified as the conversion of single-unit dwelling space 5. The project complies with all conditions and applicable development standards of Section 20.48.200 (Accessory Dwelling Units). 6. The project is not located in the coastal zone. 7. A deed restriction has been recorded prior to the issuance of a building permit related to occupancy restrictions (if applicable), prohibition on the separate conveyance, and restrictions on short-term rentals.
