ITEM PULLED BY STAFF
State Lands Commission staff reached out to the City today with questions
regarding the proposed Ordinance 2023-16: Amending Sections 17.35.030
(Bayward Location of Piers and Floats) and 17.35.060 (Balboa Island —
Noncommercial Piers) of the Newport Beach Municipal Code and Repealing City
Council Policy H-1.
Staff is pulling this item to address these concerns with State Lands Commission
staff. Once resolved, we anticipate returning to the City Council with the proposed
Ordinance in January 2024.
