RATIONALE: The original permit and permit amendment (5-82-598 & 5-82-598A) reviewed the parking need generated by the Fun Zone structure based on visitor serving retail commercial use designation. Both the previous use and the proposed use are consistent with that designation. Therefore, adequate parking will be provided, which will assure continued public access based on parking. Further, the proposed development will have no adverse impacts on coastal access or resources, is consistent with the City's certified Land Use Plan, the Chapter 3 policies of the Coastal Act and past Commission actions including 5-89-378 and 5-91-792. There being no others desiring. to appear and be heard, the public hearing was closed at this time.
