Your input and cooperation on this pro- ject is helping us make our Bayview Project a safe and successful project. As the Director of Construction for Downey Savings and Loan, I would like to assure you that we are committed to fulfilling all of our obligations as re- quired by the city to assure a safe entrance to, and operation of, our Bayview Office Building. We have submitted a site plan showing our on street and off street temporary parking proposal and all associated street striping. We under- stand and agree with the city's concern to keep the Bayview, Circle Road open for both public and emergency vehicles and to keep it reasonably clean and free of mud while construction is still ongoing. We will provide A.C. paving ramps over curbs with appropriate piping to accommodate water flow past areas that we intend to use for temporary construction vehicle parking. We also will provide appropriate gravel over dirt parking per city requirements. Temporary street lights per the city requirements are in the process of being installed and will be completed by Wednesday, February 10, 1988. All grading and land- scaping operations for the office building are under way and are scheduled to be completed by February 12, 1988. We are pouring the landings for the emer- gency exits Monday, February 8, 1988 and all plans for additional sidewalks and exit paths have been submitted to the city. Once again, I would like to thank allof this city's agencies who have assisted us and also assure all those concerened that Downey Savings will fulfill all the city requirements regarding their temporary occupancy acceptance of our Bayview Office Building.
