BOARD OF DIRECTORS GENERAL MEETING
October 24, 2012
NOTICE
Upon notice, duly given and received, the General Session meeting of the Board of Directors for the
Spyglass Ridge Homeowners Association was held at 6:00 p.m., on October 24, 2012 at the Newport
Coast Community Center, 6401 San Joaquin Hills Road, Newport Coast, CA 92657.

CALL TO ORDER
Jim Conway, President, called the General Session Meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
HOMEOWNER FORUM
No homeowners were present
MINUTES
Be it resolved, upon motion duly made and seconded, to approve the April 9, 2012 General Session
Minutes. The motion carried unanimously.
FINANCIALS
Be it resolved, upon motion duly made and seconded, to accept the financial statements for August,
September and October 2012, subject to audit. The motion carried unanimously.
APPROVAL OF AUDIT
Be it resolved, upon motion duly made and seconded, to approve the audit as submitted by Robert A.
Owens. The motion carried unanimously.
DELINQUENCY REPORT
The Board reviewed the delinquent list. No action necessary.
2013 DRAFT BUDGET
Be it resolved, upon motion duly made and seconded, to approve the 2013 draft budget with a $12.00
increase per quarter. The motion carried unanimously.
DRAFT RESERVE STUDY
Be it resolved, upon motion duly made and seconded, to approve the draft reserve study submitted by
Advanced Reserve Solutions, Inc. The motion carried unanimously.
HOLIDAY LIGHTING
Be it resolved, upon motion duly made and seconded, to approve the proposal submitted by Christmas
Light Pro’s in the amount of $600.00. Holiday decoration to include (3) Lights around Palm Trees, (2)
36” wreaths with mini lights and gold bows and garland on top of monument sign. The motion carried
unanimously.

Be it resolved, upon motion duly made and seconded, the board voted to opt out. The motion carried
unanimously.
NEXT MEETING
The next scheduled Board of Directors meeting is January 23, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the Newport Coast
Community Center, San Joaquin Hills Road, Newport Coast, CA 92657.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Board of Directors, the General Session meeting was
adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
