Dear Mr. Safaei:
At the request of the project civil engineer, we have reviewed sheets 1 through 3 of the precise grading
plans for the subject project. The precise grading plans were prepared by Toal Engineering, Inc. with a
delta 4 revision date of March 5, 2013. Following the recommendations presented in the Petra
Geotechnical, Inc. (Petra) original geoteehnical investigation report for the site (Reference No. 1), precise
grading of site was completed in May 2010 with observation and testing services provided by Petra
(Reference No. 4).
The current plan was developed to depict revised drain inlet locations and the addition of an 18 inch high
stacked wall at the southwesterly corner of the property. Based upon our review, sheets 1 through 3 of
the delta 4 revised precise grading plans are considered acceptable from a geotechnical point of view.
The recommendations presented in the referenced reports remain applicable with respect to precise
grading and for the design and construction of the proposed residence and exterior improvements.
