T• In 2012, Second Harvest became an independent 501 c3 corporation. O• 40 Years of Service Anniversary October 23, 2023 R • We reach out to the community for donations, grants, funds, food drives, grocery rescue, and volunteers to help provide food for the hungry. y • We work to find innovative sustainable ways to end hunger and to provide food for g all who need it in a convenient and dignified setting. COLLEGE STUDENTS Our College Pantry Program partners with 14 local college campuses to provide students with consistent access to nutritious food- This effort is crucial to helping students stay in school, graduate and contribute to the success of Orange County. mi I in 4 OC senior citizens experiences hunger and food insecurity_ Our Senior Grocery Program delivers a variety of fresh, perishoble items to -Darticipating low-income senior apartment complexes and senior centers throughout the county.
