From: Janine McManus <farmdogs66C@gmail.com> Sent: Tuesday, April 9, 2024 12:43 PM To: davel(@basinmarine.com Subject: Parking Good afternoon David, While hearing about today's hearing a little late to make time to attend I considered some of the issues to be discussed. One of the items of concern that bothers me is parking. If the city believes there is a shortage I have a simple solution. Consider diagonal parking along the south side of Harbor Island Dr beginning at the access gate on the north side of Beacon Bay and continuing east until The Galley Restaurant. The available parking would DOUBLE along that stretch! This could easily be done by removing the trees that require constant trimming from beneath the existing power lines and moving the curb and gutter 5 feet closer to the existing buildings. As a boating community member any change that is for the betterment of Balboa Yacht Basin needs to include input from those of us that lease slip space and garage space. Good luck today and hoping for something positive, Bill McManus
