survivors of crime through advocacy and the support of resources, information, and empowerment from
the criticaCtime after crime occurs through the challenges andsuccesses of surviving and thriving; and
U,Y&UAS, Crime Survivors' vision is for victims of crime to recover from their experience mentaCCy,
physicaCCy, emotionaCCy, and financially, by receiving the respect, support, and protection of Caw
enforcement, the] udicialsystem, and the community; and
ZV"JCERE.AS, 2023 marked the 20th anniversary of the Crime Survivors organization. In that time,
Crime Survivors has distri6uted over a half million resource guides, nearly ten thousand emergency bags
for child and adult victims, over four thousand backpacks and school, and over 5,100 meal baskets to
survivors and families; and
`WY&U,4S, Crime Survivors Resource Center was founded by its current CEO, Patricia Wenskunas, who
has gained nationaCrenown for her tireless advocacy on 6ehaCf of the victims of violent crime including
as founder and former CEO of Orange County Crime Stoppers.
