SUBJECT: VACANCIES ON THE BOARD OF BUILDING APPEALS
BACKGROUND
The Ad Hoc Appointments Committee consisting of Mayor Debay, Mayor Pro Tern
Edwards, and Council Member Glover will conduct interviews with the five applicants
on Thursday, September 4,1997.
RECOMMENDATION
Confirm the nominations announced at the City Council meeting to fill the two
vacancies that were created as a result of the reorganization of the composition of the
Board and schedule the appointments to be made on September 22, 1997. The terms of
office will begin immediately and are indefinite in length.
