Proposition 68 Grant Opportunity
Ocean Protection Council –
Proposition 68 Grant Program
Prop 68, Chapter 9: “Ocean, Bay, and Coastal Protection,” - $35 million for
projects that conserve, protect, and restore marine wildlife and healthy
ocean and coastal ecosystems with a focus on the state’s system of
marine protected areas and sustainable fisheries.
Prop 68, Chapter 10 “Climate Preparedness, Habitat Resiliency, Resource
Enhancement, and Innovation,” - $21.2 million for projects that assist
coastal communities with adaptation to climate change. Climate adaptation
projects may address sea level rise, or habitat and restoration and
protection.
