Item IV.a. Meeting Minutes of October 2, 2024
The passages shown in italics below are from the draft minutes with suggested corrections shown
in strikeout underline format.
Page 3 of 6, paragraph 2, sentence 2: “She read into the record suggestions in Section 2.3 vs.
3.2, Section 2.4, Section 4, Section 4.2, Section 5, Section C 6, Section 6.4, Section 7 and
7.1.” [Note: the video confirms “Section C” was said, but there is no Section C and the
reference was to Section 6.]
Page 5 of 6, paragraph 2: “Planning Manager Zdeba clarified that the intention of the
document is to elicit feedback and thought softening the language is a topic to window
discuss [or raise]with the community at workshops.” [The video confirms “window” was said,
but the word does not seem to carry a widely recognized meaning in this context. The intent
seems to have been “discuss,” “raise,” “highlight” or “seek comment on”?]
Page 5 of 6, paragraph 4: “In reply to Committee Member Anders-Ellmore’s concern for
substantial subject matter discussions, Planning Manager Zdeba stated that there would be
qualified representation at each workshop.”
Page 6 of 6, paragraph V, sentence 2: “Additionally, he stated that a similar presentation had
been provided to the Water Quality Coastal Tidelands committee and will be reviewed
during their meeting tomorrow’s Water Quality committee meeting.”
Page 6 of 6, last sentence: “With no further business, Co-Chair Greer adjourned the meeting
at 6:43 p.m.” [based on 1 hour 43 minute duration of video, assuming 5:00 p.m. start time is
correct.]
