The Public Works Department will be taking the proposed encroachments over and within the new proposed sewer easement to City Council on March 8, 2016. CONDITIONS: 1. The proposed encroachment (i.e. shade structure, balcony with railings, concrete stair pad, wood and metal handrails with fence post style footings, concrete stepping pads, curb and retaining wall) over and within the proposed new sewer easement shall required City Council approval and execution of an encroachment agreement. 2. The proposed encroachments extending over the proposed new sewer easement shall provide a minimum clearance height of 10 feet above fininsh grade. No portion of the encroachments shall extend over the proposed new sewer main with the exception of two small areas over the proposed manholes. 3. Owner shall provide a new sewer easement varying in width from 8 to 10 feet wide along the proposed new sewer alignment. 4. Owner is required to pay all costs associated with the sewer easement vacation, new easement processing, sewer relocation and encroachment agreement processing. 5. The foundation of the home and balcony shall be located entirely outside of the proposed new sewer easement and shall be design to accommodate future repair and reconstruction of the new sewer line. 6. Owner shall provide a 15 foot wide sewer easement along the southerly property line to accommodate future sewer realignment.
