STANDARD WATER CONSTRUCTION NOTES
Engineering Plan Check/Inspection Fee and Performance Guarantee Bond shall be paid and
Application/Permit (A.P.) completed by the applicant prior to the approval of the plans
and issuance of the A.P. Fees shall be in accordance with District rates and deposit
schedule.
Development Impact Fees shall ,be collected by the District at the

A Performance Guarantee Bond shall be held one year after MCYDts Notice of Completion to
guarantee work performed by contractor.
Separation between sauitary sewer and ·water mains will be 10' HORIZONTAL and 1'
VERTICAL.
A 15' water main easement will be granted to the MCWD for maintenance purposes, 5' for
water services, (7.5' each side of main; 2.5' each side of service). ,Easem~nt documents
are to be submitted to the District no later than 30 days after· the Notice of Comp1.etion
is filed.
Service laterals will be set to grade by the co,ntractor prior to the installation -of
water meters and boxes, (per MCVD's Standard Drawings #1, #2 and #3),
Water meter will not be installed nor water turned on until the backflow deviC.es

VATER MAINS VILL BE TESTED AT 225 P.s.r. FOR FOUR HOURS.
Backfill material in pipe zone will have a sand equivalent of 30 or greater.
The backfill above the pipe zone will be compacted per MCVD Standard Drawing #18, and be
in compliance with C.C.M. Standard Drawing 813.
