All concrete shall be Class 568-B-3250 . Pipeline and valve bedding material ,hall be sand. All water line jhall be Class 150 A.C.P. The contractor shall provide the City with a written schedule of construction to be approved 5 days in advance of stact of any work. The test pressure for leakage shall be in accordance 1<ith Section 306-1.4.7. The 16" Butterfly Valve is to be tested closed at 150 psi, then lcf: open for 225 psi line test. The contractor sha11 exca-11ate all new connections to ex1sting mains or fittings in advance to verify the type of each connection required. The contractor shall notify the City 1s Utilities Superintendent at least 48 hours in advance cf the need to shut dawn or connect ta existing water mains. No shut downs will be allowed on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays. Connections to the existing water system shall be made as shown hereon and in accordance with Subsection 306-1.2.12 of the City's Standard Special Provisions . The contractor shall be responsible for maintaining water service to the businesses affected by the work. Full service shall be maintained during the night hours, and temporary disrup- tions in teater service during the day shall not exceed four (4) hours. (See Section Vil of this cortract I s Special Provisions for Not ice to Businesses requirements.) Install 16" ACP Class 150 water main. Install 16" Butterfly Valve with anchor block per CNB Std.-506-L. Install 12" Gate Valve per CI-IB Std.-508-L. Construct typicaT offset and join per CNB Std.-509-L. Construct thrust block per CNB Std.-510-L. Install 1211 x 12 11 x 16 11 x 16 11 cross with 16 11 blind flange. ------Plug, abandon and relocate existing fire hydrant (with new gate, connector p,pe, f1tt,"3s.and_nser) -lo back of flSture curb on North ~rlsl:ol st.reet. per CIJB ':>t..d -500-L.
