CONSTRUCTION NOTES
0 -_ Install city furnished· Type III signal standard with 20. foot signal mast arm and 12 foot luminaire arm.
Existing Type 1-A pole and illuminated "One Way".sign to be delivered to City Yard. Existing signal
heads to be Installed on Type III pole. Contractor to furnish and install 3 section signal head,
Type M-2, with all indications 12 inch, and 400 watt mercury vapor luminaire, with ballast in pull box.
Conduit to be extended to new pole location and new wire pulled from controller. Existing "opticon"
unit to be installed on top of new mast arm signal head, similar to installation on northeasterly corner.
·@ Install 6 foot x 50 foot loops with 6 foot x 6 ·foot heads. Heads to have three turns of wire and tails
2 .--two.turns. Existing l inch conduits from H.R.D. may be used for loop leadin to pullboxes. Westerly loops
to utilize existing spare wires for leadin from pullbox to controller. Easterly loops to be wired

separately to controller utilizing existing l inch conduit. Furnish and install three Singer Vehicle
Detectors, Model AT-lOlA in existing controller cabinet. Existing H.R.D. pads to be salvaged and delivered
to City Yard; pavement patching will be done by others.

A 11 cons true ti on to be in accordance with the City's Standard Speci fi cation for Public Works Construction,
and applicable portions of the State Division of Highways Standard Specifications, Section 86, and Standard
Drawings.
