1. ALL WORK, MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT SHALL CONFORM TO TRAFFIC SIGNAL AND HIGHWAY
SAFETY LIGHTING SYSTEMS PER CALTRANS STANDARD PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS DATED
JULY 1992, AS SHOWN HEREON AND IN THE SPECIAL PROVISIONS.
2. ALL VEHICLE INDICATIONS SHALL BE 12" WITH GLASS LENSES AND REFLECTORS.
~ REMOVE AND SALVAGE EXIST. MULTISONICS SYSTEM CONTROLLER AND TYPE "p" CABINET.
INSTALL CITY FURNISHED IDC 820A CONTROLLER IN A NEW TYPE "p" CABINET ON EXISTING
FOUNDATION. FURNISH AND INSTALL TYPE II SERVICE.
4. REMOVE AND SALVAGE ALL 8" SIGNAL HEADS AND MOUNTINGS. INSTALL NEW 12" SIGNAL HEADS
WITH NEW MOUNTINGS AS SHOWN.
5. REMOVE AND SALVAGE ALL PED. HEADS AND MOUNTINGS. INSTALL NEW PEDESTRIAN SIGNALS
WITH INTERNATIONAL SYMBOL DISPLAYS ON NEW MOUNTINGS AS SHOWN.
REMOVE AND SALVAGE RED AND YELLOW LENSES. INSTALL RED ARROW AND YELLOW ARROW LENSES.
INSTALL 3'-1 O" PPB POST WITH NEW PED PUSH-BUTTON AND PLATE. REMOVE PPB FROM
PPB MOUNTING HOLES ON /J) SHALL BE FILLED.
(ill REMOVE AND SALVAGE EXISTING R61 TYPE SIGN AND FURNISH AND INSTALL NEW SIGN.

9. THE ENGINEER. SHALL APPROVE DETECTOR LOCATIONS PRIOR TO INSTALLATION BY THE CONTRACTOR.
10. LOOP DETECTORS SHALL BE 6'X6' WITH 10' SPACING IN THE DIRECTION OF TRAVEL, CENTERED IN THE LANE
