Contact: Susan Hori 714-371-2528 shori@manatt.com Project Name Bayside Family Resort Hotel Address: 1131 Back Bay Drive (PA2016-175) AIC2019008, ER2019-001, PC2016-001, SD2016-007, TS2019-003, and UP2016-043 The development of a 201,499-sq-ft 275-room family inn hotel. The Project will require the following discretionary approvals:  Certification of the Bayside Family Resort Hotel EIR - to address reasonably foreseeable environmental impacts resulting from the legislative and project specific discretionary approvals:  Planned Community Development Plan - to establish land uses and development standards for the project site.  Major Site Development Review - for the development of the proposed hotel, recreational areas and amenities, associated surface parking lots, and the installation of additional landscaping and lighting in accordance with the adopted Planned Community and Zoning Code development standards;  Conditional Use Permit - to ensure site compatibility and allow for ongoing regulation of hotel operations and ancillary facilities (City of Newport Beach);  Traffic Study - to analyze the projected increase in vehicle trips resulting from the proposed project pursuant to the City’s Traffic Phasing Ordinance; and  Approval in Concept and Amendment to the Coastal Development Permit (CDP) No. 5-83-962 (California Coastal Commission).
