Dear Blue Water Escrow,
The City of Newport Beach has inspected the dock at the property mentioned above.
We cannot transfer the pier permit until the following deficiencies have been corrected
and the property has been re-inspected:
1. A GFI (Ground Fault Interrupter) is required on the electrical line to the
plug-in outlet on the deck.
The Newport Beach City Municipal Code 17.60.030 states;
C.4. Prior to the transfer of an annual pier permit, all harbor structures shall be
inspected for compliance with the City’s minimum plumbing, electrical and structural
requirements, and the conditions prior to the transfer of the permit. A fee will be
charged for this inspection, established by the Resolution of the City Council.
Please call 949.644.3044 to request a re-inspection. Once the property has passed re-
inspection, the dock will be transferred.
