GENERAL NOTES
1.'.-All work detailed on these plans to be performed under contract shall, except as
otherwise stated in the City's Standard Special Provisions or in the contract's
Special Provisions, be constructed in accordance with the "Standard Specifica-~--
tions for Public Works Construction" (1976 Edition).
•~--Air placed concrete (Gunite) proportions by volume shall be l part cement to 3-¼
parts sand (min. 3500 P.S.I.) 28 days.
a __ All surfaces shall be screeded to the dimensions as shown on the plans and trawled
• with a medium wood trowel finish.
' i~.-All spalled concrete debris and deteriorated rebar removed and all Gunite rebound
shall become the property of the contractor and shall be disposed of away from
the job site in a manner and at a location acceptable to all cognizant agencies.
i!i._ Prior to the chipping of spalled concrete and to the placement of Gunite, plastic
sheeting shall be placed on the sand at the base of the bulkhead to catch the
debris and Gunite rebound. All this material shall be removed and prevented
froni enterirn the hny.
0._All existing building, improvements and boats shall be protected from
damage due to construction by the contractor. Existing dock facilities
interfering with the work shall be removed by the contractor _and the
salvaged material shall be given to the respective property owners.
