The hydrog,aphic survey was conducted using Class 1 hvdroqrcphic survey methods and accuracies outlined in the-Corps of Engineers' HYDROGRAPHIC SURVEYING lv1.A~~lJAL (EM 1110-2-1003, October 2001 ). The survey was performed using a 14' survey boat, an CSI wireless Vector DGPS navigation system, on 200 kHz with 6 degree beam Reson 215 survey grade fathon,eter, and a visual Ude gauge, Horizontal datum is based on the Califcrn[a State P1 ane Coordinate System, Zone 6 (NAD 1 983). Soundings are in feet be!ow IIAean lower Low \Noter (MLLW), as referenced to NOS benchmark A771-R-65 El = 13.072' MLLVv located at Newoort Nautical Museurn 201 East PCH. Soundings referenced USACE BM Shellrnaker Island El=O.O' MLLW tide board set on steel pile ct 1' contour shoreline north side of dock. All Berch Marks corrected to tv1LI_W from NAVO 88 Bench mark A771 was verified with RTK TopCon GPS and compared to USACE site bench marks and the data was a match, Tidal COORS NOS BM el= 10.40' mliw located at the USCG Station at Corona Del Mor was also referenced, No soundings where taken under boots or in obstructed areas All Bulkhead wo!I soundings ore 1--2' off seawall. Tides where referenced to NOAA Tide Station ID# 422 Newport Harbor Bothymetric data from this survey is referenced NO/\A Chart 18754 All structures on the survey have been adjusted to the survey data for best possible fit to the hydro survey data, the structures may not be accurate. Plan drawing of Structures, Bulkhead wali and docks are from USACOE harbor drawing and the City of Newport Beach. Contours are every 1 fooL Soundings with a (-) sign are elevations aoove 0.0' mllw DREDGING PLAN and L_IMITS Dredging to occur o minimum of 8' to 1 O' off bulkhead wall depending on approved design depth or· a minimum 1: 1 slope. The Federal channel will be the other limits of dredging ( as shown on site dredge plan) or 8' to 'IO' contour.
