However, implementing Type B in the indicated area will require excavation beneath the existing street sidewalk. This excavation cannot be performed without partially demolishing the sidewalk Proposed Solution:We propose to eliminate the L-shape of Retaining Wall (A) as currently shown, and instead connect it directly to the existing wall in a straight line, as marked in green on the attached plan for reference.
