ORDINANCE SUMMARY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on December 9, 2025, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, California, adopted an Ordinance entitled:
ORDINANCE NO. 2025-36
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE
MACARTHUR COURT PROJECT LOCATED AT 4665, 4675, 4680, 4685 AND 4695
MACARTHUR COURT AND 4770 CAMPUS DRIVE (PA2025-0090)
Adopted Ordinance No. 2025-36, approves a development agreement to vest the Irvine
Company's (Applicant) rights to develop 700 residential dwelling units and 10,000 square
feet of nonresidential building area at the MacArthur Court Campus in the Airport Area.
Ordinance No. 2025-36 was approved by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Barto, Blom, Grant, Kleiman, Stapleton,
Weber and Weigand
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
RECUSED: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
The ordinance will become effective 30 days after adoption date. A copy of the above ordinance
is available at the City Clerk's Department, 100 Civic Center Drive, Newport Beach, California or
by calling (949) 644-3005.
